We will collect non-perishable food and personal items for clients of the Lamb Center, which serves the poor and homeless in Fairfax County. Invite your neighbors, your civic association, your booster club to take part, and let’s stuff that truck!

Stuff the Truck is a participating program of Day to Serve, an initiative started in 2012 by the governors of MD, VA, WV and the mayor of DC to motivate people to get involved in service events each year.

The truck will be at Holy Cross through the weekend, so you can even collect in your neighborhood and bring donations on Sunday, September 15.

cups of soup
Pop Tarts
instant oatmeal
cereal (non-Cheerios)
cereal & energy bars
coffee
creamer
sugar
cold drink mix

Travel-size items:
deodorant
toothbrush & toothpaste
shampoo & conditioner
lotion
shaving cream

disposable double-edge razors
new men’s underwear & socks
new women’s underwear & socks
small umbrellas/ponchos

urgently needed:
large, heavy-duty backpacks
men’s clothing (gently-used okay):
jeans, sweat pants, T-shirts (not undershirts), cargo shorts
