Please join the Holy Cross family in a prayerful Pysanky Workshop for Ukraine.

Pysanky, or Ukrainian Easter eggs, are a lenten tradition passed down through generations of Ukrainians as a way to contemplate and express faith and community. Many make pysanky year round, so Holy Cross is extending our fundraising efforts beyond the lenten season.

Because this art involves raw eggs, permanent dyes, and candles, participants must be 10 years or older and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Masks are required while inside the church.

The suggested donation for pysanky decorating is $20, but donations of any amount are welcome. Holy Cross does not want financial hardships to impede your participation, but if you are financially blessed, please be generous! Cash, checks, and text-to-pay will be accepted.

If you would like to donate but not attend, text HCPAY to 73256 and select “Ukraine Support.” Donations will go to the Episcopal Relief and Development Ukraine Crisis Response Fund.

If the class is full and you would like to be notified of future classes, please email pysankysteph@gmail.com.
