“Pray without ceasing…” – 1 Thess 5:17

In past months, we have seen anew a nation’s ills, and our own ills, literal and figurative. Amid illness and injustice, pandemic and protest, death and violence, Holy Cross calls you to intentional contemplation and prayer. In prayer, we will seek the healing of these ills and the grace of God in and beyond human action.

From noon Friday, June 26 to noon Saturday, June 27, Holy Cross will hold a 24-hour Vigil for Healing and Grace. Parishioners are invited to sign up to pray for one or more half-hour slots over the vigil’s course. Each participant will commit to 30 minutes of personal prayer, including set prayers for our world, our parish, and for members of our congregation by name. Our individual prayers will be complemented by collective prayer on Facebook Live at 11:45 AM, 6 PM, and 9 PM on Friday and 9 AM and noon on Saturday.

For one day, Holy Cross will “pray without ceasing.” To make your prayer commitment, sign up using the link below. For more information, visit our website.
