Join us for an occasional formation series called Timely Texts. It’s a wilderness period here at Holy Cross: a time of pandemic with its losses and stresses and a time of transition as we prepare for the arrival of our new priest-in-charge. There’s political upheaval, movements demanding justice, and an election ahead. What are we to do? Where do we look for wisdom amid the noise? Maybe Scripture?

In each session, we’ll turn to a different book of the Bible to look for lessons on how to navigate this wilderness. We’ll take a brief look at the book as a whole, a few choice passages, and draw lessons together. Join us as we listen for what the Spirit might be saying to the Church.
