Joy Warburton, a rising Senior at Virginia Theological Seminary, and is deeply honored to join Holy Cross as the Mid-Atlantic Seminarian this Summer. She is excited to embark on this journey with you, eager to learn, grow, and serve alongside Rev. Kelly and this Faith Community.

Joy’s husband, Edmund, and their two adult children, Elaine and Cameron, live in Lake Ridge. Originally from Sierra Leone, West Africa, Joy has lived in the Northern Virginia area since 1991. A postulant for Holy Orders in the Diocese of Virginia, Joy is sponsored for ordination by Trinity Episcopal Church, Arlington (her home parish), and St. Thomas’, McLean.

Joy looks forward to getting to know each of you over the Summer as we share our faith’s richness and diversity. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow with you in faith and fellowship.
