Advent is a time for quiet contemplation and meaningful opportunities for worship. On Thursdays during Advent we will be offering Taizé services. The church will open at 7:00 p.m., and the service will start at 7:15, ending around 7:45. Take advantage of this opportunity to prepare the way of the Lord intentionally.

Traditional Taizé services include listening to God through simple, meditative songs, scripture, prayer and silence. The Taizé liturgy originated with a community in France in 1940. The community is an ecumenical, intentional community with a twofold purpose:  to seek communion with God through personal prayer and the beauty of community prayer; and to be a place of peace and trust in the midst of humanity. Visit www.taize.fr/en for more information about Taizé.

Following the service, we will be gathering for fellowship at a local restaurant, and all are welcome.
