We will view session two of Rachel Held Evans’ video series, “A New Family, Opening the Doors of The Church.” This session is entitled “Remembering Jesus.” In it Rachel Held Evans discusses how we, at times, must be on guard not to lose sight of the value and the life changing fruits of Jesus’ teachings and of his earthly ministry. Especially so, when we view our faith in Jesus as simply mechanism to shore up our own personal righteousness.
