Church Renewal Programs
Programs intended to renew the body, mind and spirit are under way and running through July. A variety of classes are being offered, and some are still in development. To find out what classes are being offered, click here.
There is a all-parish book study going on during the sabbatical period as well. Pick up a copy of Practicing Our Faith: A Way of Life for a Searching People by Dorothy Bass, and join one of the neighborhodd book groups by contacting the parish office at 703.698.6991, or join us on any Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. when we will discuss one chapter each week during the Adult Forum. Each chapter stands alone, so it's easy to jump in any time. And, if you use the Amazon link below to place your order, a portion of the cost will go the Holy Cross.
Parish Pictorial Directory
We are blessed with many new faces in our congregation. We are preparing a new pictorial directory so that we can all take some confidence in greeting each other on Sunday mornings and get to know each other better. Lifetouch Studios will be here from Tuesday, May 22 - Saturday May 26 to take portraits for our new directory. Make an appointment to have your picture taken for the Parish Directory.
The program will give each church family a complimentary directory and 8x10 photo and provide an opportunity to order additional prints. If you are not in town that week, please contact the Rev. Joie Weiher to make other arrangements to be included.
