Join Us for Holy Week and Easter

Good Friday, April 19, Noon and 7:30 p.m.

At noon we walk the Stations of the Cross, led by the clergy, meditating on the last days of Christ on earth. The Nave will remain open 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. for private prayer.
At 7:30 p.m. we will hear of the passion and death of Christ and pray at the foot of the cross in our Liturgy for Good Friday.

The Great Vigil of Easter, Saturday, April 20, 7:30 p.m.

The Easter vigil will give us the first light in the darkness as we hear the story of our faith in scripture, and then Alleluias will ring out as we celebrate the resurrection.

Easter Sunday, April 21, 8:15 and 10:30 a.m.

Easter morning, we will celebrate Jesus' resurrection with songs and prayers and by flowering the cross, a visible symbol of new life emerging from death.

After the 10:30 service, children will take part in our annual Easter egg hunt..

Parish Lunch Line

On the third Sunday of every month, we gather in the parish kitchen to make sandwiches for clients of Northern Virginia Family Service's Bailey's Crossroads shelter. Because teh third Sunday in April is Easter, the next lunch line is Sunday, April 28 at 11:30 a.m. We work for about 45 minutes to assemble and package sandwiches with the supplies we have on hand. All are welcome to come help out for as much time as you can spare. We are always accepting donations of lunch meat, cheese, and bread.
